Do You Remember Dave Turner?

THIS REPORT regarding Mr. Dave Turner and Home-Based-Business-123.com.... Please feel free to refresh your memory.
Since writing that last article, Dave Turner has come up in my email conversations more times than I can count, using all of my digits, or care to really. It appears that he is one very busy guy. Therefore, I decided to check up on him and see what he’s up to these days.
Here is my report to you:
Dave’s homebasedbusiness123.com is not the only website he is self promoting. He has set up a second website promoting the flipside of the coin.
Homebasedbusiness.com pitches a hands-off business. He’ll pick a business for you and run with it, all you have to do is collect the cash. He practically promises you that he won’t teach you anything.

What is that noise? “…without any interference on your part!” You’ve hired him to make you some money, which makes you his boss, right? Don’t you have the right to know what he’s done with your money? You’re allowed to check on your other investments? What makes this different than what’s in the rest of your portfolio?
His new website, however, promises you the opposite. It is a training program designed and guaranteed to make you money.

Now if you visit this website, you will notice, or at least you should, that the copy on the homepage is almost word-for-word a duplicate of the first site, with the exception that he promises to teach you something and, “The cost of my Internet Marketing Training Program is a non-refundable $995.”
My guess is that the real reason that this is non-refundable is due to the fact that so many people ask him for their money back, when he fails to deliver on his homebasedbusiness123.com promises.
Dave is very good at telling people how great he thinks he is, and loves to boast about his rankings on Google and other search engines. Well, I did some checking, and what I discovered is that the only reason he ranks as highly as he does is because he pays for positioning. There is nothing wrong with that, by the way, except for the fact that he leads you to believe he ranks highly due to his own perfection and real popularity, not because he can afford to pay for it.
I’ll wager that the whole reason he can afford to pay for top listings is that he keeps ripping off John Q.
Here’s what the Better Business Bureau had to say:

Based on BBB files, this company has an unsatisfactory record with the Bureau due to the failure to substantiate an advertising claim upon request by the Bureau. The company also failed to respond to either the consumer or the Bureau to the complaint(s) filed.
I sent an email request to all of the people that he has listed as testimonial providers. Here is what I wrote to each of them:

I saw your name and testimonial on his website, and I was wondering if you would mind answering a few questions for me?
I will not publish the names of my sources, so please be candid with your answers.
1. Have you ever paid Dave Turner any money via either of his websites? (named above)
2. What home based business did he provide you with?
3. Have you made any money?
4. What has your experience been regarding his customer service.
5. Have you ever spoken to Mr. Turner live?
6. If you have ever needed to, have you been able to contact him by any means?
7. If you answered yes to the last question, did he respond to your contact?

Guess what the result of this has been?
Out of the eight (8) letters sent to these testifiers, four (4) of them have come back as undeliverable, and three (3) have not answered. Hmmmmmm…
I did however receive a response from one person, to his credit in fact. I was really surprised by this, to be quite honest. This woman stepped up to the plate in Dave’s defense. BRAVO! She even provided me with links to the websites that Dave has built for her, whereby earning him her praise.
I visited them, all 3 of them. Would you like to know what I discovered about these sites, aside from the fact that one of them is not even complete?
I thought you’d say yes.
#1 http://www.millions-of-jobs.com This website is nothing more than a lead in/doorway page for a worktree.com affiliate site. Four of the navigation links lead to articles written by other people, one links to the owner’s contact info, and to get job listings you click on a banner and get redirected to the worktree.com site.
The last link is to Dave’s internet-marketing-xpert site.

This website is another lead in to an affiliate site, this time for Lexington Law Firms. This page contains just two links; one to the Lexington Law Firm site, and the other to… you guessed it, Dave Turner’s internet-marketing-xpert site.

Now this is a good one as well. This page doesn’t load completely. I’ve tried 5 times and it just doesn’t want to be viewed in its entirety. Guess how many links are on this page?
Just two, and where do they lead? One leads to a clickbank page and the other to Mr. DT himself.
The page must be incomplete, as there is absolutely no information on it whatsoever. Have a look for yourself. I dare ya!

Just between you and me, anyone that would click a link, go to a clickbank payment page, and buys without knowing what the hell they’re paying for, deserves what they get.
Ok, so this woman is Dave Turner’s fan. He’s done right by her, and feels I’ve been unfair. She said so, in the letter I received from her.
Here’s the twist:
I did a little research and discovered that the woman who wrote to me, just so happens to share the same physical address, post office box and telephone number as the great Mr. Turner himself! I guess he’d have to do right by her, since it appears that he has to face her over coffee every day.
What if… this fan were actually Dave Turner himself?
I am sorry, (not really) but out of the scores of letters I have received, there has only been one single letter in your defense, and I can’t consider that one as coming from a credible source. Not good Dave. You’re not even liked by the BBB. So, I am going to have to go with the majority here and say, “Dave – You’re scum of the earth! I certainly do hope that all of the good, honest people that you have stolen hard earned money from, rise up and sue you for everything you’ve got. I’d love to help them do it.”
